WNESCAC Session II - Friday PM

Lady Bobcats scored 308 points last night and "rounded out the top 5" according to the NESCAC home swimming page. And 5th place is a very cool place to be.

200 Free Relay starts the night rebreaking the school record with a 1:37.1 (Elle goes a lifetime best in the 50 (24.4) and Charlotte brings it home with a 23.4 split!)

50 Breast - Bates takes 2nd and 6th. Sparks drops 2 tenths and moves up a place and Freshman Amanda Moore becomes All-NESCAC.  Amazing.

500 Free - Tato moves up and out-touches the girl next to her by .03 on the last length. I love great racing!

50 Free - Charlotte - in lane 8 moves up 4 spots to 4th and pops a 24.11.  It was amazing swim - everything done right, and I honestly don't why the clock didn't say it was a 23.9, so I am having the pads checked over today.

400 Medley Relay.  Lets start here.  Our B was faster than our A relay last year. That is a very good sign.

B gets 4th in their heat... going a 4:04!
-Sergi (1:01.7)
-Sparks (1:08.2)
-Dugan (1:00)
-Leasure (53.7)
ps - In one day Kara goes a lifetime best in her 50 free, 500 free, 100 breast, 200 breast, and 100 free. 100 breast?  Yup, on her way out to the 200 breast she popped a 1:08.2.  Not the best decision, but hey, another lifetime best!

A Relay - 5th overall...

Depew (1:00.1)
Moore (1:06.0)
Zingale (58.3)
Geissinger (53.1)

3 freshman and a sophomore on that relay.  Very Cool.

This is fun to write to about.  Looking forward the next session.
