Swimmer Bio: Molly Corcoran

Molly came to us from Waterbury, CT.  Last summer, she enjoyed the Bates College Swim Camp and all of the fabulous prizes and swimming knowledge that it has to offer along with some of the other incoming Bobcats.

What initially attracted you to Bates / how did you find out about the school?
I initially felt welcomed at Bates.  The first time I visited was during the summer, but the few people on campus all greeted me with a smile and a "hello."  After Bates swim camp and my overnight last year, my feelings of the school were reassured and I knew Bates was for me.
Who is your favorite superhero?
The Powerpuff Girls I suppose, because I can't think of any other female superheroes

What is your favorite and least favorite stroke?
favorite-breaststroke, least favorite-freestyle, especially sprint freestyle
Any hobbies?
Friendship bracelets and shopping if that counts?

Do you know what field you are going to major in?
Environmental studies most likely, politics or econ possibly

On the following 1-5 scale, how would you rate your excitement to get your degree and swim at Bates?
1 - extremely excited
2 - wildly excited
3 - uber excited
4 - infinitly excited
5 - My excitement extends beyond the bounds of infinity
7.62 on a 1-5 scale, surpassing "extremely," "wildly," "uber," and "infinity."

Thanks, Molly!  It is going to be a great year with you on the team.
