Trinity / Wesleyan Recap

All in all, I think we came away from the meet with a lot of good information, strong performances, and noticeable things we need to work on. I am definitely happy with the strides made by the program in our first meet kicking off the season!

The women came away 1-1 with a win over Trinity and a loss to Wesleyan. They swam and dived tough against Wesleyan too - not allowing them to take anything lightly. On the men's side, I'm not gonna lie to you - we had hoped to beat Trinity and walk away 1-1 also, but as I mentioned to the Men's team earlier, no team will take us lightly - and no one wants to be the team that loses first to us. Our opponents will continue to swim better than average against us whenever things are close... and without any male divers, things were close. A 10 point loss when scoring over 140 points is tight. Below are some numbers that break the meet down and show how much our swimmers - and the team - improved.
