My apologies for the lack of posts on Day 3. Not only was time limited, but I came down with a nasty flu. It was rough!
OK, so on day 3 the men continued right were they left off!
• Chris Berry broke the school record in the 200 Back - shattering his lifetime best and going a 1:57 low.
• Harvey put together his best mile of the year - with a new and improved stroke that looked absolutely beautiful.
• Flaherty, Walsh, Cooper, Peem, Byron, and Blaise all went lifetime bests in the 100 free.
• and 400 Free Relays capped the night off with nearly all the swimmers posting their best splits of the weekend.
All in all, every single swimmer improved and went multiple lifetime bests. We saw three school records get broken (Berry's 50 Back 24.6, 100 Back 53.3, and 200 Back 1:57.3). Best of all though, was seeing that look of utter disbelief when each swimmer saw his time on the board.
There is nothing better than doing better than you expected! (that was tough to type... hope it made sense!)
Gotta run... Katelyn and Kelsey are off to Nationals! (keeping our fingers crossed for Dan!)
